The Athabascan Fiddlers Band hosts monthly (First Fridays) live music, dance, and potluck events at The Nave Spenard. Open to all ages, this drug-free/sober dance has grown so popular that we run out of chairs every time!

The Nave Fine Art Fair is an annual event coordinated by The Nave Studio Artists, and includes local Fine Artists from around the state of Alaska. Our next Fine Art Fair is in November, 2024 - just in time for holiday art acquisitions!

Anáaski Kawóot Ku.oo, an Indigenous beading community led by Laura Revels, meets bi-weekly at The Nave in Spenard. In 2023, they hosted their first-ever Beading Symposium in the Main Hall!
All Ages Music Coop, a program of Northern Culture Exchange, celebrates the 2023 Spenard JazzFest Battle of the Bands winner -TINY- on the Nave Main Hall stage.

Local artist Jesse Rosenstein led a blackout collage poetry workshop at The Nave in 2021. This was before our new Main Hall floor (thank you to Rasmuson Foundation)!

"there is ringing inside, it is evening" was a one-day-only solo exhibition by visiting Baltimore artist Ellery Bryan. The exhibition included audio, video, and photographic installations.
Anchorage International Film Festival held their Closing Awards Ceremony at The Nave Spenard in 2021 and 2023.
